Suzie Liu is a supervising producer at ABC News, where she has created some of its most successful podcasts and audio documentaries.
When she first joined ABC News, there wasn’t a podcast division at the company. She helped build one from the ground up — producing meaningful, award-winning work; leading a team of standout producers; and collaborating with editorial partners across The Walt Disney Company.
Her projects have brought home numerous awards, including two Edward R. Murrow Awards for “Reclaimed.” In 2022, Suzie was honored with a national Gracie Award in the individual Podcast Producer category.
Suzie was previously a news editor at WFUV 90.7 FM and a copy editor at Greater Media Newspapers in central New Jersey. She holds a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University. She loves talking about the craft of audio storytelling and has given lectures at CUNY, Columbia University and Fordham University.
