Suzie Liu is a supervising producer at ABC News, where she has created some of its most successful podcasts and audio documentaries.
When she first joined ABC News, there wasn’t a podcast division. She helped build one from the ground up — producing meaningful, award-winning work; creating effective workflows; leading a team of standout producers; and collaborating with partners across The Walt Disney Company.
Her projects have brought home numerous awards, including two Edward R. Murrow Awards for “Reclaimed.” In 2022, Suzie was honored with a national Gracie Award in the Podcast Producer category.
Suzie holds a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University. She loves talking about the craft of audio storytelling and has given lectures at CUNY, Columbia University and Fordham University.
